Next stop Stratus. Here Members critically reviewed the featured automobiles; the 'redesigned' 2008 Mercedes-Benz C350, 'redesigned' 2008 Audi TT, the BMW 328i Hardtop/Cabriolet and the new BMW X5. Following this, Members partook in a Cheese and Wine pairing seminar led by Fromager Scott McKenzie and became enlightened as to the virtues of artisan cheeses and the complexities of pairing with wines. We enjoyed some real gems from the Stratus wine portfolio and took away some surprising favourites. We capped the day off at TAWSE, with a sampling of 'must' from the highly anticipated 2007 vintage, barrel-sampled the upcoming 2006 Cabernet Franc and finally, participants of DreamFleet's Connoisseur program took delivery of their 2005 'DreamFleet Reserve' (wine that is already sold out) …. based on the positive response, Tawse and DreamFleet are preparing a 2007 'DreamFleet Reserve' program.
